[A]Partner App: Export via xpub-suite (wbv Media / Paginamedia)

Preliminary remark

(A)wbv Media in cooperation with paginamedia offers SMASHDOCs customers an extension (the "xpub-suite App") with which various file formats in printable layout can be generated directly from SMASHDOCs.

(B)Disclaimer. Toppan Merrill

(1)has no influence on whether xpub-suite app is available at the time SMASHDOCs addresses it for file creation;

(2)is not responsible for the transfer of the generated file from the xpub-suite App back to SMASHDOCs;

(3)is only responsible for the data transfer to the xpub-suite app, provided that an internet connection exists at the time of the start of the creation process;

(4)is not responsible for the technically and visually correct processing of the data exported from SMASHDOCs by the xpub-suite App and the quality of the layout.

1Process to create a PDF file via the xpub-suite App

1.1Required right: Export

1.2Select separate xpub-suite option(s) in SMASHDOCs' export menu:

(a)Select a file format "PDF xpub-suite"

(b)Choose a template

(c)Choose a PDF specification:

(i)Print-PDF;

(ii)Web-PDF;

(iii)PDF-UA;

(iv)PDF-A.

(d)Start the creation process

(e)See in SMASHDOCs when the final file generated by the xpub-suite App is available

(f)Download the file from SMASHDOCs

2.1Required right: Export

2.2Select separate xpub-suite option(s) in SMASHDOCs' export menu:

(a)Choose a format "EPUB xpub-suite"

(b)Choose a template in selection menu

(c)Start the creation process

(d)See in SMASHDOCs when the final file generated by the xpub-suite App is available

(e)Download the file from SMASHDOCs
